Details
IS215VAMBH1A is a GE Mark VI PCB assembly. The Mark VI system is one of the last Speedtronic systems for gas/steam turbine management and includes a TMR (Triple Module Redundancy) architecture, including three separate control modules, IONet and power supply.
IS215VAMBH1A is an acoustic monitoring board. It provides eighteen channels of signal conditioning via two TAMB boards and eighteen channels of acoustic monitoring via its subassemblies. Acoustic monitoring of frame 6, 7 or 9 size gas turbines is supported by this board plus one or two TAMB terminal boards. The IS215VAMBH1A has a high impedance DC bias, which enables it to detect open connections between the TAMB board and the charge amplifier.
DC bias control allows options such as RETx, SIGx and return lines, or 28V bias applied to signal lines or ground. Each channel provides a buffered BNC output that is the input signal minus the DC offset.
The board is designed with a front panel that contains two D-type cable connectors and three LED indicators for indicating board status. The back of the board has two backplane connectors placed side by side.
It houses vertical pin connectors and integrated circuits, including Xilinx field-programmable gate arrays.
Additionally, there are resistors, capacitors, and diodes, two inductor coils located between the backplane connectors, and nine 3-pin jumpers located on the circuit board.
