Introducing QCS SE (Standard Edition) R120 Honeywell QCS SE provides measurement and precise control for QCS applications targeted for OEM and end-users, who value compact and cost-effective solutions. It features open interfaces such as OPC UA, Modbus connectivity to external systems, REST-API based integration to IIoT/cloud, webbased displays, simple installation, cost-effective maintenance and service. The platform helps customers improve their operation efficiency and achieve high production quality. QCS SE Release 120 follows the very successful R110 release that has been deployed globally in Gigafactories, on Tissue machines, and through our OEM partners. It offers several feature enhancements over R110, such as: • Industry proven Cross Direction (CD) controls for Paper/Tissue and Lithium-Ion battery (LIB) applications. • OPC UA client/server connectivity, and security improvements. • As our flagship offering for Gigafactories, QCS SE 120 offers enhanced web displays for MD/CD Controls integrated to Battery MXP - Honeywell’s advanced MES offering for the battery manufacturing industry. • QCS SE 120 offers simple migration tools to migrate from earlier QCS SE releases and is the primary migration path for most MxProLine customers.
