The DS200SLCCG3ADC is a Local Area Network (LAN) communication circuit board engineered by General Electric for deployment within the Mark V control system series. This module is designed for installation inside GE drive and exciter cabinets. Once mounted, the DS200SLCCG3ADC enables the drive unit to process LAN communication signals reliably.

It is not the initial iteration of the Mark V LAN communication board. The base variant is the DS200SLCCG3 PCB, without the three major design revisions incorporated into the DS200SLCCG3ADC. Belonging to GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System lineup, this board counts as legacy equipment; the entire product range ceased production as its core technology gradually became outdated years after its initial launch.

Like all GE printed circuit boards for the Mark V platform, the DS200SLCCG3ADC relies on dedicated hardware components to deliver its designated functions. Incoming signals pass through the on-board LAN Control Processor (LCP). The card supports two removable EPROM memory modules to store LCP application programs. Dual-ported RAM facilitates data exchange between the LCP and the drive’s main control board.

The DS200SLCCG3ADC integrates both isolated and non-isolated communication circuitry. It supports connection to an external alphanumeric keypad programmer, allowing operators to conveniently adjust system configurations and access control functions.

This communication board establishes I/O data links with multiple Mark V modules, including power supply interface boards such as IMCP, DCI, DCFB and SDCI. For a full list of compatible boards, consult Table 2 documented in GE manual GEI-100162.

Units supplied are packed inside anti-static shielding bags for transit. Review all installation guidelines before unpacking the circuit board. Only trained, qualified technicians are authorized to handle and mount this component. Wiring procedures are outlined in the official datasheet and operation manual.

Per the DS200SLCCG3ADC official instruction manual, four mounting studs are fitted when assembling the board into standard Mark V racks. These fittings serve protective purposes, safeguarding the top transparent display window of the module.

Compared with the base DS200SLCCG3 LAN communication board, the DS200SLCCG3ADC incorporates two functional upgrades alongside one artwork layout revision, classified as GE A-grade, D-grade and C-grade modifications respectively.
