Manufactured by General Electric, the DS200RTBAG1A serves as a relay terminal assembly tailor-made for the Mark V control card lineup. This auxiliary hardware unit supports installation inside a wide range of GE drive and exciter cabinet enclosures. As part of the Mark V platform, the board delivers core control and monitoring capabilities for automated drive equipment used in wind, steam and gas turbine facilities. Furthermore, the Mark V platform stands among GE’s last generation of industrial control hardware built around the proprietary Speedtronic control technology.
This relay terminal board variant is not the original baseline unit designed for relay signal termination within Mark V turbine control systems. Its base model, DS200RTBAG1, lacks the A-grade functional design upgrade implemented on the DS200RTBAG1A edition.
Hardware Tips and Specifications
The DS200RTBAG1A is assembled with purpose-built electronic components engineered to fulfill standard Mark V system control demands. Once mounted inside the cabinet, the board expands the drive system with ten independent relay channels. These relays receive trigger signals from either the pilot relays integrated on the 531X307LTB LAN I/O terminal board or remote user control signals.
Seven of the onboard relays adopt DPDT architecture fitted with dual Form C contact sets, while the remaining three units are 4PDT models equipped with four Form C contacts apiece.
- Positions K20 to K26 house all DPDT relays, equipped with 110 VDC coils and contact current capacity rated at 10 Amperes.
- Positions K27 to K29 accommodate the trio of 4PDT relays, featuring 110 VDC coils and 1-Ampere contact ratings.
Every relay channel incorporates a 130 VAC metal oxide varistor (MOV) to guard circuits against voltage spikes and transient power disruptions. Faulty relays can be detached and swapped out without complex disassembly procedures. Each relay module comes with an embedded status LED lamp, which lights up visibly to display the active operational state of its corresponding relay channel.
