About DS200CPCAG1ABB
The DS200CPCAG1ABB circuit board is an original component engineered for GE’s legacy Mark V Turbine Control System. The entire Mark V product line has long been phased out of original production, rendering all associated circuit boards obsolete factory stock. Official GE Mark V technical documentation classifies this unit as a Contactor Pilot Board. Its base variant is DS200CPCAG1; the ABB suffix indicates three successive revisions: two functional performance upgrades plus one PCB layout redesign exclusive to this model.
Hardware Parameters & Key Features
Like all brand-new and refurbished Mark V modules in our stock, this Contactor Pilot Board relies on integrated hardware to deliver its designated control functions. The DS200CPCAG1ABB is fitted with a single 12-pin interface connector alongside a pair of 2-pin ports. Four terminal blocks are mounted onboard, supporting up to twelve signal wiring connections. A 24VDC, 15A plug-in power relay forms a core part of its circuit layout.
Per the factory technical handbook, the board’s contactor assemblies carry a rated coil voltage of 115VDC. The module converts incoming 115VAC input down to 105VDC, supplying sufficient power to engage its contactors firmly. Once activated, the high circuit voltage maintains contactor closure continuously. Built-in rectifiers, capacitors and diodes serve as voltage-limiting hardware to stabilize power flow throughout the unit. A thick standard conformal coating covers the circuit substrate, shielding the board from routine abrasion and operational wear.
Installation Precautions
Internal movable elements within the onboard relay demand extra care during rack mounting inside turbine control cabinets. This tall, protruding relay assembly is vulnerable to impact damage when colliding with metal framing or adjacent modules.
When sliding the board into its cabinet slot, maintain full visibility of both the circuit board and internal rack space. Insert the unit slowly and align its mounting holes with rack fasteners. Use one hand to position screws while turning the screwdriver with your other hand for fixation. Avoid over-tightening hardware, as excessive force can crack the PCB substrate; reuse original washers if they were fitted on the prior faulty unit.
