The GE IGBT P3 Snubber Board DS200IPCDG2A features one 4-pin connector and screws for adjusting the insulated bipolar transistor (IGBT). The screws are adjusted by use of a screwdriver. The GE IGBT P3 Snubber Board DS200IPCDG2A is installed in the drive board cabinet in a metal rack structure that has screws holes that will align with the screw holes in the board. Before you remove the old board, notice where the board is situated and plan to install the replacement board in the same place.
Also notice how the adjustment screws are turned and if possible, plan to adjust the screws on the new board the same way. If that is not possible, you can install the new board and use a trial and error process to duplicate the adjustment until you match the defective board.
Also note what cable is attached to the 4-pin connector and plan to connect the same cable on the new board. When you disconnect the cable only grasp it from the connector at the end of the cable. If you pull the cable out by holding the cable portion of it, you might damage the connection between the wires and the connector. Use one hand to hold the board in place and relieve the pressure on the board and with the other hand pull the cable out. Notice any cable routing inside the cabinet and plan to route the cable the same way after the new board is installed.
