The TBCB board typically takes up one of the larger slots below a series of 5 smaller boards. This board is also called a Termination Module RTD and 4-20 mA Input (TBCB) and functions within the R5 core. Its primary function is to use the input signals that it receives to transmit them to the TCCB board where they are written on to the board. It has specific hardware configurations that need to be setup in the installation process.
The BJ1 to BJ22 input signals need to be connected to the DCOM. The BJ23 to BJ30 input signals are where signals 15-22 are converted to 0-1mA current range. A total of eight of the regular input signals have the ability to be converted to 0-1 mA input signals.
