DS200KLDBG1ABC General Electric Display Board
The DS200KLDBG1ABC is a GE component used within the Mark V Speedtronic system. The Mark V was one of the last of the Speedtronic systems for the control of gas or steam turbines. It is a flexible microprocessor-based control system with TMR architecture, designed with built-in diagnostics and online maintenance.
The DS200KLDBG1ABC is no longer sold by GE, but can be found through AX Control as both a reconditioned unit and as liquidated surplus (new-used) stock. Please note that DS200 series boards are older units without updated firmware or components; if these updates are necessary for your system please review similar boards in the DS215 series.
The DS200KLDBG1ABC functions as a display board. It is a large, rectangular board with only a few well-spaced components. This includes thirty-two vertical light components placed in four lines of eight in the bottom right quadrant of the board. Integrated circuits and resistor network arrays are placed between these lights. More integrated circuits are clustered in the bottom left corner, including field programmable gate arrays and at least one oscillating chip. The board has several board connectors, including two vertical pin components.
The board has two jumper switches, capacitors, diodes, and resistors. The top of the board is populated by seven LED displays. These displays are designed for numerical display, using sixteen-segment digits. The board is marked with codes like C-ESS and 6BA01. The corners and edges of the board are drilled to allow for mounting.
The DS200KLDBG1ABC is a board component fabricated by GE as part of the Mark V. The Mark V Speedtronic systems was created and distributed by GE for the management of gas or steam turbine systems and is primarily used within the EX2000 subsystem. They can be purchased here at IC Spares as either a liquidated new-used unit or a reconditioned used board.
It functions as a display board and is rectangular in shape with factory-made drill holes located in each corner and in the middle of each edge. These allow for the mounting of specific hardware like screws to mount the board within the unit or standoffs to mount other components to the board?s surface. It features seven LED sixteen-segment displays that display numerical information. These are lined up on the board in two lines of three with the seventh display located below the left side of the second line. Below these displays, the board is designed with a field of individual lights interspersed with integrated circuits and resistor network arrays.
The majority of integrated circuits are located in the bottom left corner of the board including several FPGAs and oscillating chips. Other components include vertical pin cable connectors, jumper switches, resistors, capacitors and diodes.
